A bunch of British rockers that seem like they'd throw down in a pub fight at the drop of a hat.   Fast and loud and fun.  

Suticase Junket at Atwood Tavern

impossible to describe.  A one man act that's a mix of folk, alt rock; america and a dash of crazy magic.  

Muscodine Bloodline - Brighton

Hailing from Nashville there's a healthy dose of country in their music.   Beautiful harmonies and solid guitar hooks.   Said to be very high energy live.   

Delta Rae at Royale

what Fleetwood Mach would have sounded like if they had grown up in the south.  Long on talent and great live..  Just releasing their new music.  I expect it will be spectacular.

ZZ Ward - Royale

A little Country.  A little Rock.  A lot of attitude.   Maybe what Adele would sound like if she grew up in a gritty southern town?   

Josh Ritter at Sander Theatre

American music with clever and irreverent lyrics. 

American Authors and Magic Giant at Paradise

American Authors are an upbeat pop rock band.   Best Day of My Life is an infectious piece.   Magic Giant is the best live show I've ever seen.    Intimate and joyful   If you've never seen them you really missing out. 

Tauk - Paradise

Progressive Rock Fusion  - very chill but very energetic.    People say they do a great live show. 

Sammy Rae - SInclair

Shades of Megan Trainor but with more of a NYC cool vibe.    Going out on a limb here and say that this could be a great live show. 

Dust Bowl Revival - Sinclair

Blue Grass and Roots Rock mashed together with a healthy sense of humor Music for stomping your heart out to.   Lamp Shade On is kind of my theme song..

Samantha Fish - SInclair

Saw Samantha at Blue's and Brews where she gave a great high energy performance.  As a blues guitarist, she can hold her own with the greats.  

Mark Knopfler - Rockland Pavilion (Blue Hills)

You may not recognize the name but you will recognize the guitar and sound.  Lead singer and guitarist for Dire Straights.

Upstate - MFA

I stumbled on this band and really like them.  Quirky in a good way   A little Lake Street Dive;  a little Jazzy bluegrass folk.  With a dash of funk ?  You tell me.

Delta Rae - Sinclair

Overloaded with vocal talent.  Delta Rae is what Fleetwood Mac might have sounded like if they grew up in the south.  A joy to listen to.

Ripe with Magic Giant

Two of my favorite bands in the same show!   Both of these bands are incredible live.   Ripe is a seven piece funk band with fanatical local following, a great sound and tons of energy.    Magic Giant is magic.  The music is fun and light and I've never seen a band make a more intimate connection with a crowd.   It may feel a bit different in a larger venue, but I'm going to get floor seats and push to the front!

Jain at Paradise

A mix of world music/ township music and techno.  Completely captivating and innovative.  I don't usually have much patience for techno, but going to try to see this one.   Really curious how it works in a live show.   Even if you have not interest in the show, you should watch the video.   One of the best music videos I've seen.

Elton John at TD Garden

Another bucket list item.  Even if he did the roll on Kingsmen II.  I'll sing along

Ra Ra Riot at Sinclair

Indie Rock / Pop.  Sort of ethereal  and haunting without being emo. 

Beck at Blue Hills

Beck is impossible to classify.  He jumps genre's with every album.   Loser may be his best know piece, but memorable as that song is, its only scratching the surface of his ability.  This one's a must see for me.

Paul Simon at TD Garden

What can you say?  it's Paul Simon.  He's had hit record in each of the past 4 decades.  On my bucket list to see him live.

Delta Rae at Cabot

Alt Country / Rock / Folk.  Delta Rae is so long on talent it's ridiculous   All three of the Holljies can sing lead and so can Hopkins.  Makes for a great variety of music any of which could stand on it's own.  A must see.  I already have my tickets!

Ripe at Paradise

A funk/ soul band out of Boston.   These guys will get you grooving.

Magic Giant at the Brighton Music Hall

Imagine City Hipsters crashing the 67 Summer of Love.   Indie Folk Pop played with wild enthusiasm.   Said to be fantastic live.  This is a must see for me!

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at Royale

Straight up rock and roll with a fat full sound that makes you bob your head.  I've been hoping these guys would hit Boston.  The video is 10 years old.  Hopefully they still sound this good!

Blue's Traveler at the House of Blues

Realizing all those crazy sounds come from John Popper on harmonica is mind blowing.    Grove to some southern blues rock.  

Dorothy at Paradise

More straight up kick ass rock.  Joan Jet with an attitude.  Lots of attitude. 

The Interrupters and SWMRs at Paradise

The Interrupters are a Ska band with a bit of punk mixed in.  Good energy!

SWMRS are more straight up punk.  

Luke Combs at HoB

.Stadium Country?  Definitely country but with some rock influences.   When It Rains it Pours is a classic.
